Section 6. Direction signs Article 14.
General provisions
(1) Direction signs inform about the features of mandatory traffic regulations, as well as the location of settlements and other objects.
(2) Graphic images of direction signs are given in Appendix 5 to the resolution.
Article 15. Direction signs and their meanings
The following direction signs and their meanings are established:

1) Sign 511 "Motorway" indicates the place from which the established order of traffic on motorways operates;
2) Sign 512 "End of motorway" indicates the end of the road designated by sign 511 "Motorway";
3) Sign 521 "One-way road" indicates a road or carriageway along which the movement of vehicles across the entire width of the carriageway is carried out only in one direction;
4) Sign 522 "End of one-way road" indicates the end of the road or carriageway designated by sign 521 "One-way road" or signs 523 and 524 "Entrance to one-way road";
5) Sign 523 "Entrance to one-way road" indicates the place and direction of entry onto a road or carriageway with one-way traffic;
5) Sign 524 "Entrance to one-way road" indicates the place and direction of entry onto a road or carriageway with one-way traffic;
6) Sign 525a "Lane for general traffic" indicates a lane intended for non-rail general traffic moving in the same direction as other vehicles. The action of the sign applies to the lane above which it is located. The action of the sign installed to the right of the carriageway applies to the right lane. The action of sign 525a extends to the nearest intersection located behind the sign or to sign 526a "End of lane for general traffic", indicating the end of the lane for general traffic;
6) Sign 526a "End of lane for general traffic" indicates the end of the lane for general traffic;
7) Sign 525b "Lane for general traffic and bicycles" indicates a lane intended for non-rail general traffic, bicycles, mopeds, and mini-mopeds moving in the same direction as other vehicles. The action of the sign applies to the lane above which it is located. The action of the sign installed to the right of the carriageway applies to the right lane. The action of sign 525b extends to the nearest intersection located behind the sign or to sign 526b "End of lane for general traffic and bicycles", indicating the end of the lane for general traffic and bicycles;
7) Sign 526b "End of lane for general traffic and bicycles" indicates the end of the lane for general traffic and bicycles;
10) Sign 527a "Road with lane for general traffic" indicates a road where the movement of general traffic is carried out on a specially designated lane against the general flow of traffic;
11) Sign 528a "End of road with lane for general traffic" indicates the end of the road with a lane for general traffic designated by sign 527a "Road with lane for general traffic";
Sign 527b "Road with lane for general traffic and bicycles" indicates a road where the movement of general traffic, bicycles, mopeds, and mini-mopeds is carried out on a specially designated lane against the general flow of traffic;
Sign 528b "End of road with lane for general traffic and bicycles" indicates the end of the road with a lane for general traffic and bicycles designated by sign 527b "Road with lane for general traffic and bicycles";
Sign 529a "Exit to road with lane for general traffic" indicates the place and direction of exit to the road with a lane for general traffic designated by sign 527a "Road with lane for general traffic";
Sign 529b "Exit to road with lane for general traffic" indicates the place and direction of exit to the road with a lane for general traffic designated by sign 527a "Road with lane for general traffic";
Sign 529c "Exit to road with lane for general traffic" indicates the place and direction of exit to the road with a lane for general traffic designated by sign 527a "Road with lane for general traffic";
Sign 529d "Exit to road with lane for general traffic and bicycles" indicates the place and direction of exit to the road with a lane for general traffic and bicycles designated by sign 527b "Road with lane for general traffic and bicycles";
Signs 53 installed in settlements have a white background with black arrows and border.
Signs 53 installed outside settlements have a blue background with white arrows and border.
For better visibility of signs during road works, signs 53 may have a yellow background with black arrows and border.
Signs with a black background and white arrows can be installed both in settlements and outside settlements.
Signs 53 "Direction of movement in lanes" indicate the number of lanes for the movement of non-rail vehicles on one side of the road or across the entire width of the road to the nearest intersection or to the point of intersection with the road of access roads from adjacent to the road territories and the mandatory direction of movement from each lane at the intersection or at the point of intersection with the road of access roads from adjacent to the road territories. If signs 53 are installed separately above the lane, they show the mandatory direction of movement in this lane. Sign 53, allowing a left turn from the far left lane, also allows a U-turn from this lane. The action of signs 53, located in front of the intersection or point of intersection with the road of access roads from adjacent to the road territories, applies to the entire intersection or to the entire area of intersection with the road of access roads from adjacent to the road territories if other signs 53 installed on them do not provide other instructions. Signs or their symbols indicating the movement of certain types of vehicles, indicating the minimum or maximum permitted speed, or informing about other features of the traffic rules on the respective lane may be depicted on the arrows of signs 53. When indicating a closed lane on signs 53, instead of an arrow, the red designation of a dead end used on signs 552a, 553a – 554b "Dead end" and on sign 552b "Dead end and bicycle path" may be used. Sign 531 indicates the directions of movement from lanes when there are two or three lanes of traffic in the same direction.

Sign 533av "Direction of movement in lanes" indicates the directions of movement in lanes of the same direction if there is no separate lane for the joining stream of vehicles (regardless of the presence of an acceleration lane).
Sign 533bs "Direction of movement in lanes" indicates the directions of movement in lanes of the same direction if there is no separate lane for the joining stream of vehicles (regardless of the presence of an acceleration lane).

Sign 534s "Direction of movement in lanes" indicates the directions of movement from the lane above which it is installed.

Sign 535s "Direction of movement in lanes" indicates the directions of movement on the lanes of a road with three or more lanes of traffic if the directions of travel have an equal number of lanes.

Sign 539 "Lane closed" indicates a traffic lane where movement is prohibited, and this applies to the lane above which a traffic light is located;
Sign 541a "Bus or trolleybus stop" indicates the stopping place for buses or trolleybuses transporting passengers according to the schedule;
Sign 541b "Tram stop" indicates the stopping place for trams;
Sign 542 "Taxi parking" indicates a taxi parking place;
Sign 543 "Pedestrian crossing" indicates an unregulated pedestrian crossing;
Sign 544 "Pedestrian crossing" indicates an unregulated pedestrian crossing;
Sign 545a "Pedestrian underpass" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 545b "Pedestrian underpass" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 546a "Pedestrian underpass" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 546b "Pedestrian underpass" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 547a "Pedestrian bridge" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 547b "Pedestrian bridge" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;
Sign 548a "Pedestrian bridge" indicates pedestrian crossings not at the same level as the roadway;

Sign 551 "Turnaround place" indicates a location provided for making a turnaround, with left turn prohibited at this location;
In the direction indicated by sign 552a "Dead end", there is a road without through passage;
In the direction indicated by sign 552b "Dead end and bicycle path", there is a road without through passage for motor vehicles, except bicycles, electric scooters, mopeds, and mini-mopeds. A bicycle path or road with through passage continues for bicycles, electric scooters, mopeds, and mini-mopeds;
In the direction indicated by signs 553a "Dead end", there is a road without through passage;

Sign 555 "Waiting area" indicates a place where on a narrow stretch of road you should yield to oncoming traffic;
Sign 556 "Recommended speed" indicates the maximum speed (km/h) recommended on a road section under favorable weather and road conditions. The recommendation applies to the nearest intersection, or if none, to the distance indicated on the plate "Zone of action of the sign". If sign 556 is used in conjunction with a warning sign, the recommendation applies to the end of the hazardous road section;
Sign 557 "Intersection with a bicycle path" indicates an intersection with a bicycle or bicycle-pedestrian path or an intersection with a bicycle lane;
Sign 558 "Forced stop in a tunnel" indicates a place for a forced stop in a tunnel;
Sign 559a "Automatic control" indicates the implementation of road supervision in automatic mode;
Sign 559b "Automatic control" indicates the implementation of road supervision in automatic mode;
Sign 559c "Video surveillance" indicates the existence of video surveillance, and it may include the logo, emblem of the office, or data of the person responsible for video security;

Sign 563 "Exit to a road with reversible movement" indicates a place to exit to a road with reversible movement;
Sign 571 "Settlement" indicates the beginning of the road traffic rules applicable to movement in settlements;

Sign 575d "Parking space for a person with musculoskeletal disorders vehicle" indicates a parking space that may only be used for parking a vehicle with a parking card for a vehicle serving a person with musculoskeletal disorders or blindness;
Sign 575e "Electric vehicle parking" indicates a parking space that may only be used by a fully electrically driven electric vehicle;
Sign 575g "Vehicle parking" indicates a parking space that may only be used by the specified vehicle or person with a vehicle;
Sign 576a "Parking order for vehicles" indicates the organization of parking in any zone in the area designated by sign 387 "Parking area" and in the parking lot designated by sign 575a or 575b "Parking area" or sign 575c "Parking area at service facility";
Sign 576b "Parking order for vehicles" indicates the organization of parking in any zone in the area designated by sign 387 "Parking area" and in the parking lot designated by sign 575a or 575b "Parking area" or sign 575c "Parking area at service facility";

When signs 577 are present, the use of parking clocks during parking is mandatory;
Sign 577b "Parking duration" indicates the duration of restricted parking in any zone in the area designated by sign 387 "Parking area" and in the parking lot designated by sign 575a or 575b "Parking area" or sign 575c "Parking area at service facility", respectively, around the clock or within a certain period of time. When signs 577 are present, the use of parking clocks during parking is mandatory;
Sign 578a "Paid parking zone" indicates the presence of a paid parking zone in any zone in the area designated by sign 387 "Parking area" and in the parking lot designated by sign 575a or 575b "Parking area" or sign 575c "Parking area at service facility", respectively, which can be carried out around the clock or within a certain period of time. When used as additional information for sign 578a, the end of the paid parking zone in the paid parking zone designated by sign 387 "Parking area" is indicated by sign 397 "End of parking zone";
Sign 578b "End of paid parking zone" indicates the end of the paid parking zone designated by sign 578a "Paid parking zone";
Sign 579 "Forced vehicle relocation" indicates that vehicle relocation is applied as a measure of prevention;
Sign 581 "Tunnel" indicates the beginning of the area where the traffic rules established in tunnels apply;
Sign 582 "End of tunnel" indicates the place where the traffic rules established in tunnels cease to apply;
Sign 583 "Industrial zone" indicates an industrial zone or the location of a technopark;
Sign 584a "Dump" indicates a place for dumping garbage. The inscription located at the bottom of the sign specifies the specificity of the garbage dumping site (sorting station, waste station);
Sign 584b "Storage of hazardous substances" indicates a place for collecting hazardous substances and hazardous waste;
Sign 585a "Ferry terminal" indicates the location of the ferry terminal;
Sign 585b "Commercial port" indicates the location of the commercial port;
Sign 585c "Yacht harbor" indicates the location of a port (harbor, pier) intended for the reception of yachts and small vessels;
Sign 586a "Airport" indicates the location of an airport;
Sign 586b "Bus station" indicates the location of a bus station;
Sign 586c "Railway station" indicates the location of a railway station;
Sign 591 "Stop line" indicates the stopping place for vehicles at a traffic signal or traffic controller's red signal;
Sign 592a "Traffic movement requirements and reminders of traffic rules" is a reminder of the current traffic rules and requirements;

Sign 595b "Information about performers of temporary changes in traffic" information about the client of the object, the performer, other persons associated with this location for temporary changes in traffic;
Sign 595c "Information about the type of work" information about the type of work and the performer of the work;
Sign 596 "Information about movement" necessary information for road users;
Sign 596 "Information about movement" necessary information for road users;
Sign 596m "Information about movement" necessary information for road users;
Sign 597 "Parking meter" indicates a parking meter where parking can be paid;
Sign 598 "Merge lane" indicates the end of the lane, where it is recommended to merge into a lane one by one for smooth traffic flow.
