Section 4. Prohibitory Signs and Zone Signage Prohibitory Signs Article 8.
General Provisions
(1) Prohibitory signs establish prohibitions and restrictions, as well as modify and cancel them.
(2) Prohibitory signs are only effective on the road where they are installed, unless otherwise indicated by signs 831–833 "Direction of Action".
(3) Prohibitory signs may be absent if the corresponding prohibitions are established by the Road Traffic Law.
(4) To improve the visibility of signs during road works, prohibitory signs may have a yellow background.

Article 9. Prohibitory Signs and Their Meanings (1) The following prohibitory signs and their meanings are established:

1) Sign 311a "No Entry" prohibits the movement of all vehicles;
2) Signs 311b "No Entry to Private Road" indicate that the private road is not intended for public use. Vehicle movement is allowed only with permission from the owner of the private road;
3) Signs 311c "No Entry to Private Road" indicate that the private road is not intended for public use. Vehicle movement is allowed with permission from the road owner or vehicles driven by persons indicated on the sign;
4) Signs 311d "No Entry to Private Road" indicate that the private road is not intended for public use. Vehicle movement is allowed without the owner's permission at their own risk, as the private road is not designed for safe travel;
Sign 312 "No Mechanical Vehicles" prohibits the movement of all mechanical vehicles;
Sign 313a "No Entry for Heavy Goods Vehicles" prohibits the movement of vehicles of category "C", tractors, and self-propelled machines. If the sign indicates a maximum mass (in tonnes), the movement of all mentioned vehicles, road trains, and machine trains, with one of them as the tractor, is prohibited if the registration mass of the vehicle of category "C", tractor, or self-propelled machine exceeds the specified limit;
Sign 313b "No Buses" prohibits the movement of vehicles of category "D" with or without a trailer;
Sign 314a "No Motorcycles" prohibits the movement of vehicles of category "A";
Sign 314b "No Snowmobiles" prohibits the movement of snowmobiles;
Sign 315 "Two Prohibitions" establishes two prohibitions at the same time. The sign may display symbols of two different prohibitory signs 312–314b, 316–319, and 321–324;
Sign 316 "No Tractors" prohibits the movement of tractors and self-propelled machines;
Sign 317 "No Road Trains and Machine Trains" prohibits the movement of road trains and machine trains. If the sign specifies a maximum mass (in tonnes), the movement of road trains and machine trains, the sum of the registration masses of the vehicles comprising them exceeding the specified limit, is prohibited. The sign does not apply to road trains and machine trains with light trailers;
Sign 318 "No Horse-Drawn Vehicles" prohibits the movement of horse-drawn vehicles (sleds), as well as cattle driving;
Sign 319 "No Transport of Dangerous Goods" prohibits the movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains transporting dangerous goods;
Sign 321 "No Bicycles" prohibits the movement on bicycles, mopeds, and mini-mopeds;
Sign 322 "No Mopeds" prohibits the movement on mopeds and mini-mopeds;
Sign 323 "No Horse Riding" prohibits horse riding;
Sign 324 "No Pedestrians" prohibits pedestrian movement. The effect of the sign applies only to the side of the road on which it is installed;
Sign 331 "No Entry" prohibits further movement of all vehicles;

Sign 332 "No Right Turn" prohibits right turns only at the intersection of carriageways before which it is installed;
Sign 333 "No LeftTurn" prohibits left turns only at the intersection of carriageways before which it is installed. The sign does not prohibit U-turns;
Sign 334 "No U-Turns" prohibits U-turns. The sign does not prohibit left turns;
Sign 335 "Customs Check" prohibits passage without stopping and permission from a customs officer;
Sign 336a "Police Check" prohibits passage without stopping and permission from a police officer;
Sign 336b "Check" prohibits passage without stopping and permission from the inspector;
Sign 341 "Weight Limit" prohibits the movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose actual weight exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 342a "Axle Weight Limit" prohibits the movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains where the actual load on any axle exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 342b "Bridge Weight Limit" prohibits the movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains where the actual load on the bridge exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 343 "Height Limit" prohibits further movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose actual height, with or without load, exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 344 "Width Limit" prohibits further movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose actual width, with or without load, exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 345 "Length Limit" prohibits further movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose actual length, with or without load, exceeds the indicated on the sign;
Sign 351 "Maximum Speed" prohibits movement at a speed (km/h) exceeding that indicated on the sign. A sign limiting speed to 30 km/h or less indicates a dangerous section of the road, where warning signs or road markings may be absent;

Sign 352 "No Overtaking" prohibits overtaking vehicles, except for single vehicles moving at a speed of no more than 30 km/h;
Sign 353 "No Overtaking by Heavy Goods Vehicles" prohibits vehicles of category "C", tractors, and self-propelled machines from overtaking vehicles, except for single vehicles moving at a speed of no more than 30 km/h;
Sign 354 "Minimum Distance" prohibits the movement of vehicles at a distance between them less than indicated on the sign;
Sign 355 "Use of Sound Signals Prohibited" prohibits the use of sound signals. As an exception, the use of a sound signal is allowed to prevent danger;
Sign 361 "No Stopping" prohibits stopping and parking. The effect of the sign does not extend to public transport vehicles;
Sign 362 "No Parking" prohibits parking;
Sign 363 "Parking Prohibited on Odd-Numbered Days of the Month" prohibits parking on odd-numbered days of the month;
Sign 364 "Parking Prohibited on Even-Numbered Days of the Month" prohibits parking on even-numbered days of the month;
Sign 371 "End of Maximum Speed Limit Zone" indicates the end of the zone affected by sign 351 "Maximum Speed";
Sign 372 "End of No Overtaking Zone" indicates the end of the zone affected by sign 352 "No Overtaking";
Sign 373 "End of No Overtaking by Heavy Goods Vehicles Zone" indicates the end of the zone affected by sign 353 "No Overtaking by Heavy Goods Vehicles";
Sign 376 "End of All Restrictions Zone" indicates the end of the zone affected by several signs 35 and 36.
Action Zone Signs Article 10.
1 General Provisions
(1) Sign 38 establishes the traffic order indicated on the sign within the entire zone.
(2) Sign 39 cancels the traffic order established by sign 38.
(3) If signs contradicting the one depicted on sign 38 are installed within the zone, then the requirements of the contradicting signs should be followed on the respective road sections.
(4) The lower part of the action zone sign may have texts or symbols of signs attached.
Sign 381 "Zone of Equivalent Intersections" designates a zone where all intersecting roads are considered equal in priority. This sign is used to denote a zone with mutual intersections of paved, gravel, and dirt roads, making them equal. The end of the zone established by sign 381 is indicated by sign 391 "End of Zone of Equivalent Intersections";

Sign 382 "Speed Limit Zone" denotes a zone where movement at a speed (km/h) exceeding that indicated on the sign is prohibited. A sign limiting speed to 30 km/h or less points to a dangerous zone where warning signs or road markings may be absent. The end of the zone established by sign 382 is indicated by sign 392 "End of Speed Limit Zone";

Sign 383 "No Stopping Zone" denotes a zone where stopping and parking are prohibited. The effect of the sign does not extend to public transport vehicles. The end of the zone established by sign 383 is indicated by sign 393 "End of No Stopping Zone";

Sign 384 "No Parking Zone" denotes a zone where parking is prohibited. The effect of the sign does not extend to passenger cars with the "Red Cross" emblem on official duty. In the zone, parking of taxis with the taximeter on is allowed for no more than 15 minutes. The end of the zone established by sign 384 is indicated by sign 394 "End of No Parking Zone";

Sign 385 "Bicycle Zone" denotes a zone where movement on bicycles, electric scooters, mopeds, and mini-mopeds is allowed. If traffic conditions permit, pedestrians may also move in this zone without hindering bicycle, electric scooter, moped, and mini-moped traffic. The end of the zone established by sign 385 is indicated by sign 395 "End of Bicycle Zone";

Sign 386 "Pedestrian Zone" denotes a zone where movement by foot and on electric scooters is allowed. Drivers of electric scooters must not create danger or hinder pedestrians. The end of the zone established by sign 386 is indicated by sign 396 "End of Pedestrian Zone";

Sign 387 "Parking Zone" designates an area intended for parking. The end of the zone established by sign 387 is indicated by sign 397 "End of Parking Zone";

Sign 388 "Zone of Two Signs" denotes a zone established by two different signs. The end of the zone established by sign 388 is indicated by sign 398 "End of Zone of Two Signs";

Sign 389 "Zone of Action and End of Action Zone" denotes the beginning of one zone and the end of another action zone.
(2) Action zone signs with images of other signs may also be used.
