Section 5. Mandatory Signs Article 12.
General Provisions
(1) Mandatory signs establish the proper order of road traffic.
(2) Graphical images of mandatory signs are provided in Appendix 4 to the resolution.
Article 13. Mandatory Signs and Their Meanings
(1) The following mandatory signs and their meanings are established:

1) sign 411 "Mandatory direction of movement straight ahead", permits movement only in the direction, indicated by the arrow on the sign. The action of the sign, installed directly after the intersection or on the road between intersections, extends to the nearest intersection. The sign does not prohibit turning right into a parking lot, to a special parking area, and onto the adjacent territory of the road. In the area of the sign's action, turning left or making a U-turn is allowed only at the location where there is a corresponding sign 53 "Lane movement directions", and a U-turn – only where there is a sign 551 "U-turn location". The action of signs 41 extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which they are installed;
1) sign 412 "Mandatory direction of movement to the right", permits movement only in the direction indicated by the arrow on the sign. The action of the sign extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which it is installed, while the sign with a curved arrow, allowing only a turn, – is installed some distance before the turn location;
1) sign 413 "Mandatory direction of movement to the right", permits movement only in the direction indicated by the arrow on the sign. The action of the sign extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which it is installed, while the sign with a straight arrow is installed directly before the turn location;
1) sign 414 "Mandatory direction of movement to the left", permits movement only in the direction indicated by the arrow on the sign. The sign, allowing a turn to the left, also permits a U-turn. The action of the sign extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which it is installed, while the sign with a curved arrow, allowing only a turn, – is installed some distance before the turn location;
1) sign 415 "Mandatory direction of movement to the left", permits movement only in the direction indicated by the arrow on the sign. The sign, allowing a turn to the left, also permits a U-turn. The action of the sign extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which it is installed, while the sign with a straight arrow is installed directly before the turn location;
Sign 418 "Mandatory movement direction right or left" permits movement only in the directions indicated by the arrows on the sign. The sign, allowing a left turn, also permits a U-turn. The action of the sign extends only to the intersection of carriageways, in front of which it is installed;
Sign 421 "Direction of detour around an obstacle" permits detouring around a safety island or another obstacle only in the direction indicated on the sign;
Sign 421 "Direction of detour around an obstacle" permits detouring around a safety island or another obstacle only in the direction indicated on the sign;
Sign 422 "Direction of detour around an obstacle" permits detouring around a safety island or another obstacle only in the direction indicated on the sign;
Sign 422 "Direction of detour around an obstacle" permits detouring around a safety island or another obstacle only in the direction indicated on the sign;
Sign 423 "Direction of detour around an obstacle" permits detouring around a safety island or another obstacle only in the direction indicated on the sign;
Sign 424 "Roundabout" permits movement only in the direction indicated by arrows, its action extends only to the roundabout intersection following the sign. If sign 424 is installed together with sign 221 "Yield", then the driver must yield to the vehicle moving in the roundabout;
Sign 431 "Bicycle path" indicates that movement is permitted for cyclists, electric scooter riders, moped and mini-moped drivers. If traffic intensity allows, pedestrians are also permitted to move in the named zone without creating obstructions to movement on bicycles, electric scooters, mopeds, and mini-mopeds;
The end of the bicycle path is indicated by sign 441 "End of bicycle path";
Sign 432 "Pedestrian path" indicates that pedestrian movement is allowed. Movement for electric scooter drivers is also permitted provided they do not create danger or obstructions for pedestrians;
The end of the pedestrian path is indicated by sign 442 "End of pedestrian path";
Sign 433 "Bicycle-pedestrian path" indicates that movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders is permitted. With sign 433 present, cyclists are allowed to move on one side of the path or part of the path, pedestrians on the other side, and electric scooter riders on both sides of the path, as shown on the sign. If traffic intensity allows, pedestrians are permitted to move on the side designated for cyclists without creating obstructions to bicycle movement. Cyclists and electric scooter riders must not create danger for pedestrians;
The end of the bicycle-pedestrian path is indicated by sign 443 "End of bicycle-pedestrian path";
Sign 434 "Bicycle-pedestrian path" indicates that movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders is permitted. With sign 434 present, cyclists are allowed to move on one side of the path or part of the path, pedestrians on the other side, and electric scooter riders on both sides of the path, as shown on the sign. If traffic intensity allows, pedestrians are permitted to move on the side designated for cyclists without creating obstructions to bicycle movement. Cyclists and electric scooter riders must not create danger for pedestrians;
The end of the bicycle-pedestrian path is indicated by sign 444 "End of bicycle-pedestrian path";
Sign 435 "Bicycle-pedestrian path" indicates that movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders is permitted. With sign 435 present, pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders share the path or part of the path together. Cyclists and electric scooter riders must not create danger for pedestrians;
The end of the bicycle-pedestrian path is indicated by sign 445 "End of bicycle-pedestrian path";
Sign 436 "Equestrian path" indicates that movement is permitted only on horseback;
The end of the equestrian path is indicated by sign 446 "End of equestrian path";
Sign 437 "Snowmobile path" indicates that movement is permitted only on snowmobiles;
The end of the snowmobile path is indicated by sign 447 "End of snowmobile path";
Sign 438 "Snow chains required" mandates the use of snow chains on at least two driving wheels of mechanical vehicles when moving. The action of sign 438 extends to the nearest intersection, or in the absence of an intersection, to sign 448 "End of mandatory snow chains use zone" or to a distance specified on plate 821 "Sign action zone";

Sign 451 "Minimum speed" permits movement only at the speed indicated on the sign or higher (km/h). The action of sign 451 extends to the nearest intersection, or in the absence of an intersection, to the end of the settlement or to sign 452 "End of minimum speed limit zone" or to another minimum speed set by sign 451, or to a distance specified on plate 821 "Sign action zone";
Sign 452 "End of minimum speed limit zone" indicates the end of the zone where sign 451 "Minimum speed" is applicable and restores the previous speed regime;
Sign 461a "Direction of movement for vehicles carrying dangerous goods" permits movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains transporting dangerous goods only in the direction indicated on the sign. The direction of turn is indicated by a straight arrow on the sign installed directly before the turn location, and by a bent arrow on the sign installed some distance before the turn location;
Sign 461b "Direction of movement for vehicles carrying dangerous goods" permits movement of vehicles, road trains, and machine trains transporting dangerous goods only in the direction indicated on the sign. The direction of turn is indicated by a straight arrow on the sign installed directly before the turn location, and by a bent arrow on the sign installed some distance before the turn location;
