Section 3. Vertical marking
Article 26.
General provisions
(1) Vertical marking – alternating white and black stripes located at the edge of the road structure or placed on white posts are reflectors with a black inclined stripe or without it.
(2) Graphic images of vertical marking are given in Appendix 9 to the resolution.
Article 27. Vertical marking and its meaning
The elements of vertical marking have the following meanings:

Marking element 994 "Reflective barrier" indicates the boundary of the road near the road or divider. Markings of uniform shape are present on the right side of the direction of movement and on the left side of the travel lane. The marking is white or yellow. The marking may be of a different shape than presented in Appendix 9. | |
Marking element 995 "Marking post" indicates the edge of the road and obstacle in winter when it is not visible due to snow. | |
Marking element 996 "Flexible vertical sign" indicates a place where traffic is prohibited. |
