Section 7. Information Signs Article 16.
General Provisions
(1) Information signs provide information about possible routes and directions of movement, detour routes, and warn about traffic features.
(2) A straight arrow, depicted on an information sign, indicates the direction of a turn on signs installed immediately before the turn, and a curved arrow indicates on signs installed at some distance before the turn.
(3) Graphic representations of information signs are provided in Annex 6 to the resolution.
Article 17. Information Signs and Their Meanings
(1) The following information signs and their meanings are established:

Sign 611 "Traffic Scheme" indicates the route of movement when turning is prohibited at an intersection or specifies permitted directions of movement at a complex intersection;
Sign 621 "Preliminary Direction Indicator" indicates directions of movement to populated areas or other destinations. Sign 621 may contain road numbers, images of directional and other road signs providing information on traffic regulations, symbols of service facilities, and other officially approved symbols. The number at the bottom of the sign indicates the distance to the intersection. If any prohibiting signs are installed on a road section, the possibility of bypassing this section may be indicated on sign 621;

Sign 636 indicates the direction of movement and the distance to a legal entity (institution);
Sign 637 indicates the direction of the route for cyclists and pedestrians and the distance to the destination;

Sign 641 "Designation of geographical name" indicates the name of the administrative-territorial unit, settlement, river, lake, or other place;

Sign 645 "Distance indicator" indicates the distance to inhabited areas and other destinations located on the route;
Sign 651 "Kilometer sign" indicates the distance to the beginning of the road;
Sign 652a "Road number" indicates the road number, the inscription and border have the following coloring depending on the importance of the designated road: 1) on main highways - red background, inscription and border in white;
Sign 652b "Road number" indicates the road number, the inscription and border have the following coloring depending on the importance of the designated road: 2) on reference highways - yellow background, inscription and border in black;
Sign 652c "Road number" indicates the road number, the inscription and border have the following coloring depending on the importance of the designated road: 3) on secondary highways - white background, inscription and border in black;
Sign 652d "Road number" indicates the road number, the inscription and border have the following coloring depending on the importance of the designated road: 4) on roads of the European road network - green background, inscription and border in white.
Sign 653a "Road number" indicates the road number and its direction;

Sign 658 "Bicycle route number" shows the direction of the bicycle route, which directs to the specified bicycle route number on the sign.
Sign 661a "Direction of movement of trucks" indicates the direction of movement recommended for vehicles of category "C", tractors, self-propelled machines, as well as road trains and machine trains, the tractor of which is one of the above-mentioned vehicles. In case the maximum weight (in tons) is indicated on the sign, the recommended direction of movement for vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose registered weight or the sum of registered weights included in the composition of which vehicles exceeds the weight indicated on the sign;
Sign 661b "Direction of movement of trucks" indicates the direction of movement recommended for vehicles of category "C", tractors, self-propelled machines, as well as road trains and machine trains, the tractor of which is one of the above-mentioned vehicles. In case the maximum weight (in tons) is indicated on the sign, the recommended direction of movement for vehicles, road trains, and machine trains whose registered weight or the sum of registered weights included in the composition of which vehicles exceeds the weight indicated on the sign;
Sign 661c "Direction of movement of freight vehicles" indicate the direction of movement recommended for vehicles of category "C", tractors and self-propelled machines, as well as articulated vehicles and machine trains, with one of the aforementioned vehicles being a tractor. In case of indication of maximum weight (in tons) on the sign, the recommended direction of movement is indicated for vehicles, articulated vehicles and machine trains, the registration weight of which or the sum of the registration weights included in the composition of which exceeds the one indicated on the sign;
Sign 661d "Direction of movement of freight vehicles" indicate the direction of movement recommended for vehicles of category "C", tractors and self-propelled machines, as well as articulated vehicles and machine trains, with one of the aforementioned vehicles being a tractor. In case of indication of maximum weight (in tons) on the sign, the recommended direction of movement is indicated for vehicles, articulated vehicles and machine trains, the registration weight of which or the sum of the registration weights included in the composition of which exceeds the one indicated on the sign;

Sign 685a "Road junction" indicates the direction of road branches at the location of the sign;
Sign 685b "Road junction" indicates the direction of road branches at the location of the sign. The sign indicates that the recommended speed of travel on at least one road branch at the road junction should not exceed 50 km/h;
Sign 686a "Dangerous section or edge of the road" marks a dangerous obstacle at the free edge of a road intersection or the edge of the roadway (traffic lane) and deviation from the direction of travel, as well as separates the directions of travel and lanes of oncoming traffic. Signs 686 may indicate the beginning of the marked dangerous section of the road or dangerous area indicated by the warning sign. Lanes slope towards the roadway or the lanes of oncoming traffic;
Sign 686b "Dangerous section or edge of the road" marks a dangerous obstacle at the free edge of a road intersection or the edge of the roadway (traffic lane) and deviation from the direction of travel, as well as separates the directions of travel and lanes of oncoming traffic. Signs 686 may indicate the beginning of the marked dangerous section of the road or dangerous area indicated by the warning sign. Lanes slope towards the roadway or the lanes of oncoming traffic;
Sign 687 "Column marking" may be placed under another sign or as a standalone sign to emphasize an intersection, junction, safety island, or other locations. The sign film may be wrapped around any post;
Sign 688a "Threshold" indicates a threshold and its width. Lanes slope towards the roadway. Signs may be absent on roads with a speed limit of 30 km/h or less.
